My name is Steve Goldberg. I am excited to be teaching students at Carolina Friends School about history starting in August 2022. I had been taking a break from my 20+ year career as a high school teacher to share the story of Abe Piasek, a 90-year old Holocaust survivor. I've shared Abe's story with more than 4,000 people (over 80 presentations). I constantly work to create a learning environment that allows students to become empathetic global citizens who are empowered to make the world a better place.
